This is Blue Ringo. The Blue Ringed octopus is one of the deadliest creatures on the planet. If you get bitten by one of these you can die within minutes. With this painting I wanted to emphasize the sweet beauty of this little guy. I imagine him as praying into the light asking for strength to temper his dangerous capacity. He wishes he wasn't so powerful and poisonous. He reminds us that great power requires great restraint. Be kind, love each other and always use your strengths for good.
